I am now uploading Séadna, the famous novel written by Peadar Ua Laoghaire, chapter by chapter, with grammatical notes. The vocabulary is being progressively entered in my Dictionary of Cork Irish.

I aim to publish transcriptions of some of the works of Pádraig Ua Duinnín. I am starting today with chapter one of his Saoghal i nÉirinn, his refutation of the notion that life was better outside Ireland. I have now fully transcribed the original text of Mo Sgéal Féin, the autobiography of Peadar Ua Laoghaire, who is attributed with the leading role in the Gaelic Revival of the early 20th century. He lived through the Irish Famine and witnessed the decline of Irish. He was a native speaker of and authority on Cork Irish, which he recommended as a standard language for the Irish nation as a whole.
